Cemafroid also provides the cold chain actors with its expertise and independent counsel, from manufacturing plants through carriage and storage up to consumer delivery.

Cemafroid expertise includes every component in the cold chain. It relates to the needs of the companies, the choice of equipment, the validation, use, setting or maintenance, energy use of the equipment or how the cold chain is organised.

Cemafroid also offers specific expertise on the cold chain traceability not only on one link but throughout an entire distribution channel.

Cemafroid is present in the sectors of agrifood but also catering, pharmacy or industry for the overall food or health cold chain, from manufacturing to use.

This expertise activity developed further to Cemagref is supported by the research results and the expertise of the research teams at Cemagref, a public research institution. For its expertise activity Cemafroid uses an important network of experts acknowledged in the field.
